About This Game
Get ready for a new adventure in Pokémon™ Sword and Pokémon™ Shield on the Nintendo Switch™.
A new generation of Pokémon is coming. Start your journey as a Pokémon Trainer by choosing one of three partner Pokémon: Grookey, Scorbunny, or Sobble. Then travel through the Galar region, where you will face Team Yell and learn the mystery of the Legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta.
Explore the Wild Area, a large open place where you can control the camera freely. You can also play with up to three other players, online or locally, in Max Raid Battles. In these battles, you will fight strong and giant Dynamax Pokémon.
Some Pokémon can Gigantamax, which gives them a new look and powerful G-Max moves. You can also change your clothes and hairstyle in different shops to create your own style.
During your journey, you will find new Pokémon and also familiar ones in new Galarian forms. You can send your Pokémon on Poké Jobs to help them grow, and you can also spend time with them and play together in Pokémon Camp.
