About This Game

Absolum is a roguelite beat ’em up action game for Nintendo Switch set in the original fantasy world of Talamh. The game combines side-scrolling combat with roguelite progression, branching paths, exploration, and a story centered around a rebellion against the rule of Sun King Azra.

Players take control of outcast heroes, each with their own fighting style and abilities. Runs take players through different areas of Talamh, where they encounter enemies, quests, characters, and challenging bosses. The game supports both solo play and cooperative multiplayer for two players.

For players searching for Absolum Switch NSP, Absolum Nintendo Switch ROM, or Absolum Switch eShop, the game combines classic beat ’em up action with modern roguelite mechanics and an original fantasy setting.

Story

Talamh was devastated by a magical catastrophe caused by ambitious wizards. As fear of magic spread among the population, Sun King Azra used the situation to strengthen his power, enslaving wizards through the Crimson Order and placing loyal princes over conquered territories.

The high enchantress Uchawi and a group of rebels rise against Azra’s regime. Players join this uprising and travel across different parts of Talamh, uncovering secrets and facing the forces protecting the king’s rule.

Gameplay

Absolum combines traditional beat ’em up combat with roguelite progression. Players fight through side-scrolling environments, use different abilities and attacks, follow branching routes, discover quests, and face bosses. Each run can offer different encounters and paths as players progress through Talamh.

The game also features permanent warrior upgrades and unlockable items that contribute to progression between runs. Players can experience the adventure alone or cooperate with another player locally or online.
