The Rogue Prince of Persia for Nintendo Switch (NSP Edition) is a fast-paced action roguelite developed by Evil Empire, the studio behind the hit Dead Cells. Combining the acrobatic moves of the Prince of Persia series with the challenging gameplay of roguelites, it offers a fresh and innovative take on this legendary franchise. Players control the Prince as he attempts to rescue Ctesiphon from the invading Hun army, tainted by dark magic, across a world that transforms with each defeat.
The game features a fluid parkour system and highly dynamic combat. The Prince can run vertically or horizontally along walls to avoid traps or sneak behind enemies. Players have a variety of basic weapons at their disposal, including double swords, ranged weapons like bows, and magical medallions that grant elemental effects. Each round offers the opportunity to discover new ornaments and upgrades that can be strategically combined to create powerful offensive synergies to defeat the massive bosses guarding each area.
